Brownhills Motorhomes are currently looking for a Workshop Driver. We are the largest Motorhome Retailer in the UK and this is an exciting opportunity to join our busy team. Job Description This role involves: MOT runs, moving vans to and from the workshop, checking retail customers vehicles with checklist of any damage upon arrival, ensuring vehicles are returned in a clean and tidy state, that all windows, doors, lockers and roof lights are secured, chasing overnight customers for their vehicles to be taken in to the workshop, collecting parts when required, clean and sweep central workshop, emptying large green bins daily, cleaning the workshop sink area, keeping the tyre area tidy, fuel vehicles as directed, delivery of customer vans to customers, checking pdi on workshop loading, ensure customer collection area is kept clean and tidy. Cleaning of company cars, checking oil levels and tyres, assisting as Banksman when required. Ensuring waste disposal area is kept clean and tidy following workshop use. You will have a daily meeting with the Workshop Controller to ascertain jobs planned for that day and you will be required to undertake any other jobs directed by the Workshop Controller. Skills Required The successful candidate will be able to maintain a high standard of workmanship, be proactive towards their work. You must possess a cheerful disposition and get on well with people. The ability to prioritise your work and be able to work unsupervised is a must. You must have basic IT skills and be able to use a smart phone device to take pictures for vehicle appraisals. You will show self-discipline and have excellent time management skills. A full driving licence for driving vehicles over 3500 Kgs is required.
