Join the Close Brothers Vehicle Hire team where you will support the smooth and efficient running of our workshop and ensure efficient interactions with third party repairers.

Working as part of the workshop team, based in Ilkeston our ideal team member will ideally have a background in administration, preferably within Transport or logistics. They will be be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Control and manage the opening and closing of jobs for the workshop.
  • Liaise with third party repairers to support the repair programme
  • Order parts to ensure we maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Raising and closure of purchase order numbers
  • Maintaining our compliance documentation
  • Generally support the Workshop and Damage Managers

  • You’re highly organised and attentive to detail.
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • You have practical problem-solving abilities.
  • You’re able to work on your own initiative within a team framework.
  • You possess a strong level of Computer literacy.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
  • Have prior Transport and Legislation knowledge
  • Have previous experience in the LCV & HGV commercial vehicle industry
