£35,745 - £39,880 + benefits

Location:Currently remote with some office working (2 days per week) envisaged in future

As Workforce Policy & Inclusion Lead, you’ll deliver the #TeamOldham strategy, and lead the development of inclusive workforce policies. Join us – and make an impact for years to come.

With this in mind, we launched a new Workforce Strategy in 2020, which you’ll help to deliver. As our subject matter expert, you’ll be key to the growth of an open, inclusive culture.

Day to day, you’ll develop robust, legally compliant employment policies to support our strategic goals. You’ll also seek to embed equality in practice, tackling under-representation of key demographic groups. It means managing a policy review plan, giving professional advice and implementing solutions that promote the equalities and diversity agenda. With your help, we’ll bring positive change, both in the workplace and throughout service delivery.

We’re looking for a member of the CIPD, with proven experience in a similar role. You’ll have championed inclusivity and workforce diversity before, drawing on up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practice. Enthusiastic and energetic, you’ll be adept at engaging with a range of colleagues and contacts. And, above all, you’ll have the drive to understand and create opportunities for our current and future workforce.
