As the Workforce Development Lead you will lead, manage and ensure the successful delivery of key Workforce Development projects ensuring that they lead to the right outcomes, within agreed timescales and resources.We take a collaborative approach to Workforce Development which means that we are continually growing and developing our projects through group discussions, harnessing ideas, researching what others are doing and mapping our vision for the future.We are advertising this position with the option of being a development role. We are keen to hear from individuals who have HR / Workforce experience and are keen to develop, grow and learn specifically within Workforce Development / Workforce Planning. More details on this can be found below.This Will InvolveYou will project manage and deliver desired outcomes in accordance with quality, budget and timescale specifications thus performing a key role in keeping the programme on track to meet objectives.
  • Facilitating the development of project plans;
  • Supporting delivery and facilitation of meetings and delivery
  • Monitoring progress against priorities within the programmes;
  • Supporting the identification, recording, monitoring and management of project risks and issues
  • Producing reports and papers for meetings
  • Ensuring governance process are followed
  • Designing and delivering training and group facilitation
  • Chairing programme and project group meetings
  • Driving the key priorities of the programmes by working with partners
  • Contributing to the development of new strategic aims and priorities and the wider people strategy
