Responsive Repairs

We’re responsible for delivering responsive repairs, right first time across Abri. We carry out the responsive repairs to our customers’ homes ranging from electrical, carpentry and plumber repairs as well as plastering and decorations. We also carry out external repairs such as fencing and groundworks.

Our team has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Responsive Repairs team as a multi-skilled operative with a high skill level as a UPVC window engineer where you’ll be working around the Portsmouth area.

We’re looking for a UPVC Window Engineer responsible for the delivery of UPVC maintenance repairs/installations, as well as being capable of additional types of work with your skill set.

No two days will be the same in this role so enthusiasm, a can-do attitude and a genuine passion for always wanting to go the extra mile will be essential as your day to day will involve:

• Carry out repairs to Upvc, timber and metal windows and installations to Abri properties, in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that all works are planned, programmed and completed to the satisfaction of Abri Group’s customers
• Achieve quality and quantity in carrying out work and ensure compliance with Technical Services Health & Safety policies and statutory legislation
• Complete issued responsive, void and planned repair works to the given priority or confirmed appointments made with the Abri Group’s customers
• Provide technical advice, support or guidance to other departments within the Abri group to enable them to carry out their duties; to include joint surveys, provision of quotations for improvement works
• Work with all other Commercial Services staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team where appropriate providing support where needed in the interests of effective and efficient services and in particular the contract teams

Working as a great team player, you’ll be carrying out work and installations to Abri’s properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice.

In this role, you’ll be an ambassador for the organisation by using your ‘can do’ attitude to provide a high-quality, ‘right first time’ service to our customers all while being the friendly face of Abri.
