An Amlaw 200 Firm is on the lookout for a talented 2nd or 3rd year associate to join its White Collar Group in Washington, DC.
Their White Collar team provides advice on regulatory defense to clients facing the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm offers representation to both companies and individuals in fraud investigations, securities matters, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act cases. With lawyers in the United States and United Kingdom, the team adopts a global approach in creating comprehensive solutions. Their lawyers boast backgrounds as former prosecutors and regulatory officials in the key enforcement jurisdictions around the world, bringing decades of experience to handle high-profile criminal and regulatory cases.
The ideal candidate should have experience handling white collar litigation defense cases. Having experience in areas such as fraud, corruption, trade sanctions, and export controls is a plus.
The candidate should have exceptional academic credentials, with superior written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience working at a law firm, Law Review membership, a federal clerkship, and prior prosecution experience are all preferred. Admisison to the D.C. bar is also necessary.
