We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to work as a Project Manager as part of the West Glamorgan Transformation Programme Office.

We are looking to recruit 2 project managers who, once recruited, will be allocated to work on one of the following programmes, though allocation to the programme is interchangeable depending on where priorities lie:

Children’s Programme

Transforming Mental Health Programme

Reporting to the relevant West Glamorgan Transformation Manager, the Project Manager will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and will take the lead role in the development and implementation of systems and processes to support work streams across the West Glamorgan Transformation programme.

You will need experience of project management, including an awareness and understanding of social care and health policy developments, along with administration management and have experience of supporting projects with businesses cases and relevant financial documentation for funding bids.

Personal qualities will need to include being adaptable, flexible with the ability to deal with unpredictable situations as they arise. You will also need the ability to prioritise under pressure, within a change environment.

This post will be primarily based in Swansea Council Civic Centre. You will be expected to work in an agile environment, mainly working remotely at present, though in future will be required to work in other offices across the region. This post is funded up to 31 March 2023.
