At Academics, we are currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work full time in a Caerphilly, Welsh medium primary school. The role itself will be to support the teacher in delivering the lesson’s objectives, working in small groups and 1:1 and be a role model to all pupils. The role is initially until Easter but likely to be until the end of the year.You will also be required to provide feedback to pupils and report any safeguarding concerns to the school’s safeguarding lead.Your working hours are, Monday to Friday from 8am to 3:30pm with weekly pay.The essentialsFluent in Welsh (essential)Weekly pay starting at £325 per weekAn enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)Two recent and professional referencesAn Undergraduate Degree (desirable)Experience of working in education (desirable, but not essential)What to expect from AcademicsFull compliance with Agency Worker Regulation (AWR)Online, hassle free time sheetsFriendly and honestAwarded the Recruitment and Employment Confederation "Gold Standard"Should you want to know more then please contact us.
