Welding Trainer/ Assessor
Location:British Steel Scunthorpe
Salary:up to 34,454 dep on package and benefits

The welding and fabrication department wish to appoint a suitably qualified Trainer/Assessor to deliver on a range of qualifications at levels 1, 2 and 3 at British Steel

You will be responsible for the delivery of a case load of work which will include assessment and training activities, quality/audit compliance, student guidance and support. You will ensure that appropriate developments are undertaken to support delivery against quality assurance, self-assessment processes, case load targets and objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a time-served Fabricator/Welder with relevant industry experience in a range of fabrication and welding processes including MMA, MAGS and Plate Work.

An A1 or equivalent would be desirable

Experience working within the education sector monitoring apprentice progress will be an advantage.

You should have good communication skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and be fully committed to working with young people.
