Staff Selection UK are currently looking to recruit a Welder Operative for our well known client in Peterlee!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan work to minimise waste of raw materials as well as working in a clean and tidy manner.
  • Work to engineering drawings.
  • Be Familiar with MiG welding competencies.
  • Work in accordance with company operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Work with production and production engineering to analyse, plan and implement solutions to create and implement efficient fabrication processes with regards to tooling, jigs etc.
  • Work with production and production engineering on the design and implementation of projects considering Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
  • Perform all relevant MiG welding, other welding and grinding etc.

Personal Attributes:

  • Ideally possessing experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Have an eye for detail, strive for accuracy and respect quality in all aspects of the work.
  • OUR CLIENT WILL ACCEPT SOMEBODY WITH MINIMAL EXPERIENCE OR SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE IT BEFORE AND LOOKING TO GET BACK INTO IT

£10.00 per hour- Temp to Perm Basis.
