WELDER FABRICATOR CHARGE HANDSalary - £36,000.00pa - overtime paid at time & a half.Working Hours - Monday - Friday - 08:00 - 17:30 - 45 hours per week.Location - WiltshireOur client is currently looking for a Welder fabricator / Coachbuilder / Panel Beaterto join their forward-thinking team.This role requires a dynamic, hard-working Welder Fabricator Charge Hand with relevant experience in the commercial vehicle repairs sector.Responsibilities of a Welder Fabricator Charge Hand-Body Repairs
  • Fabrication
  • Strip/fit
  • Prepping
  • Efficient and conscientious worker
  • Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
  • Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
  • Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
  • To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager
  • Duties to include the use of hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, MIG welders, and Oxy - Acetylene torches.
  • Alongside the above roles you will be required to get involved with other aspects of the repairs as required including general workshop duties.
    • Skills And Qualifications Of a Welder Fabricator-Abilities or qualification in welding (MIG) essential.
  • Ideally have full clean licence but not essential
  • The ability to do prep work and any strip / fitting will be favourable
  • Experience working on vehicle would be a distinct advantage for this role
  • Experience working in Aluminium is beneficial
  • A small amount of mild steel / stainless may be required
