Job Description:

You will be required to undertake welding activities on both plate (MS/SS) and structural steelwork standards working within the engineering/construction industry
Experience of working with materials in a range of 3mm to 40mm thk essential.
Coded welding ability preferred but not essential as training and testing will be supported.
Having a knowledge and experience of fabrication with ability to understand and work from bespoke drawings would be beneficial but not essential.
You should be able to develop flat plate from engineering drawings, using calculator to obtain angles and missing dimensions.
Required to process steelwork (CNC profile, press, roll, punch etc) and fabricate (assemble & weld) both plate (MS/SS) and structural steelwork to standard tolerances associated to the engineering/construction industry.
Experience of working with materials in a range of 3mm to 40mm thk essential.
Coded welding ability preferred but not essential.
Ability to understand and work from bespoke drawings and CNC files/data sheets.
Required to undertake installation activities on steel fabricated equipment.
Experience of working with construction materials ranging from mortars, ceramics, plastics and steels required.
Regular requirements to undertake site activities working on engineering/construction sites away from home within the UK ranging from 1 day to 2-week periods
