Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator/Welder
About the Role:
Our client has an immediate vacancy for a qualified Tig Welder Fabricator working alongside a small, dedicated team of sheet metal workers/fabricators, you will be responsible for, and must have experience in:
  • Fabricating jobs to an acceptable quality standard using engineering drawings works instructions/specifications and Manufacturing Information Documents.
  • Fabricating bespoke products from mild/stainless steel and aluminium.
  • Experience in MIG and a willingness to learn Tig welding is essential.
  • Self-checking and being accountable for own quality of work.
  • Driving license is essential as will be required to regularly work on various sites.
  • A forklift license would be an advantage.
  • Experience using general fabrication workshop equipment.

This role requires the applicant to be:
  • Able to work individually or within a small team of sheet metal workers/fabricators.
  • Able to read customer and engineering drawings.
  • The role will suit a motivated person who takes pride in their work fabricating bespoke products.
  • A great role as part of an open and growing team where your contribution will be visible.

Company Benefits:
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.00 am – 4.00 pm and Friday 7.00 am – 1.00 pm
  • Over-time available – Paid at Time and a Half Saturday, Currently Full 7 Hour days and Double Time Sunday
