An exciting opportunity have arisen to join the Wiltshire Council’s digital transformation programme as Web Operations Officers,

LIVE∙WORK∙INNOVATE

We are working in partnership with Microsoft to build a new customer facing digital platform, implementing a new website, robotic process automation and all associated technical work streams.

About The Role

As Web Operations Officer, you will work with us to build and implement a new website based on the GOSS CMS. You will be involved in the design, build, implementation, support and ongoing development working within the business to improve existing processes and identify technical solutions which increase efficiency and performance. A large part of this project will be the migration and decommission of legacy website infrastructure.

Use expertise to deliver training and documentation. Collaborate with other teams to develop system integrations, data migration through user engagement and workflows to support business processes.

About You

We will look to you to have at least two years’ experience working in a previous role in website administration with experience performing customisation and configuration tasks with an excellent knowledge base implementing and administration of web based systems.

You will have experience with training end users and working closely with stakeholders. You will therefore be a strong communicator with the ability to work independently as the SME in regards to technical web site operations.

You will be required to have excellent prioritisation skills, attention to detail and have the ability to produce relevant documentation and standard operating procedures in line with the ITIL framework.

First hand experience of the GOSS cms will be a distinct advantage.
