We are searching for a Website Designer with passion and enthusiasm to work within our existing team based at our Braithwaite office. Work will be predominantly office based with some remote flexibility.

Who we are:

We are a Digital Services company based near Keswick in Cumbria, providing a range of services technology, creative and Web Development services.

We have stunning views from our open planned offices overlooking the breath-taking Skiddaw massif, located in the middle of the Lake District National Park. We have some of the finest walks and outdoor goings-on in the country.

We are searching for a website designer with passion and enthusiasm to work within our existing team based at our Braithwaite office. Work will be predominantly office based with some remote flexibility.

Our ideal candidate will have a good eye for design, be able to take the initiative on their own, excited to learn new skills and experiment as the industry continues to evolve.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Produce brilliant design visuals, including sketches, wireframes and design concepts.
+ Convert design concepts into working websites using a mix of hand-written clean code, and page builders e.g. WP Bakery or Elementor
+ Handle customer support queries related to websites.

About You:

+ Good eye for design
+ Experience building and updating websites using WordPress
+ Experience creating mock-ups in Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
+ Experience working in a similar environment in the digital industry
+ Excellent communication skills both in-person and via phone/email
+ Good knowledge of UX principles and applications

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

+ Email marketing - using Mail Chimp or similar systems
+ Social networking
+ Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
+ PHP or other programming languages
+ JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery
+ cPanel and Linux server management
+ Logo and brand design
+ Graphic design: brochures, business cards, leaflets and posters.
+ Photography
+ Copywriting
+ Version control using Git
