Barrhead Travel has an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy Marketing and Ecommerce team. The Digital Marketing Modern Apprentice will learn about the travel sector market and how to engage with Barrhead Travels customers particularly through all digital channels. You will learn how to develop and deliver a marketing strategy and build and maintain a distinct and brand-led online presence.

Based on a general awareness of marketing and communications the Digital Marketing Modern Apprentice will be responsible for supporting the implementation of all digital communications and marketing activity that will contrib-ute to raising the profile of Barrhead Travel to drive volume, and conversions to all our channels online and in-store.

You will bring enthusiasm and a demonstrable interest in digital communications channels and keen on learning more about the travel industry. Strong communication skills are essential as well as good administrative and organi-sational skills and attention to detail. The ability to multi-task and demonstrate enthusiasm and initiative constitutes a natural part of the job. We will give you the opportunity to get first-hand experience of generating and maintaining marketing campaigns across all forms of digital media whilst making a potentially huge difference to our organisa-tion.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the team on delivery of digital marketing and communication activity to meet the KPIs and objectives of Barrhead Travels Objectives.
  • Create engaging content for website, e-newsletters and Social media as required
  • Contribute to Marketing and Communications team content planning meetings
  • Provide support on the design, production and distribution of BHT marketing materials
  • Contribute to the administration of MGS’s CRM and mailing list data
  • Other business administration duties relevant to the role. The above-mentioned tasks and responsibilities consti-tute an overview and not an exhaustive list. Workload and priorities are ultimately determined by the marketing plan and priorities that week.
