Slurp is a retailer of exciting wines from around the world, with a strong (and rapidly growing) online customer base as well as a physical store in Banbury and a warehouse in Brackley.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Web Administrator to join our team here at Slurp. Your role will be to provide support for software and systems used daily within the business.

About The Role
  • Work with delivery & product managers across the group to support the management and function of its websites.
  • Liaise with development agencies, and provide feedback on bugs and features.
  • Implement day-to-day web updates and create landing pages to drive sales and increase customer base.
  • Provide support for software and systems used daily within the business.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to customer journey’s, processes and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing roadmaps to further optimise site efficiencies and identify bug fixes.
  • Work with digital agencies to ensure the security of the group’s sites and systems.
  • Support in optimising the customer journeys to remove purchase friction.
  • Help internal teams optimise systems and software solutions.
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software.
  • Recommend and execute improvements to increase customer loyalty
  • Collaborating creating unique and engaging content and landing pages.

Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of different online retail platforms (e.g. Magento, WooCommerce or Shopify)
  • Fundamental knowledge of HTML & CSS.
  • Ability to find issues and report effectively.
  • Awareness of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a flare for creativity.

About You
  • Have previous ecommerce experience where you have supported different functional and technical needs of websites.
  • You’ll understand roadmaps, user stories and have had familiarity with Agile development processes.
  • You should be a team player with strong communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and loves problem-solving.
  • Come with a resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Stays up to date with new web trends and advancements within ecommerce.

Nice to haves
  • Familiarity with analysing customer experience using tools such as Hotjar or MS Clarity.
  • Knowledge of PHP and coding frameworks.
  • Exposure to working with cloud hosting solutions and liaising with 3rd party vendors.
  • Experience working in both client and agency side roles.
  • A strategic thinker with a commercial background.
