Due to continued growth and new contract acquisitions we are looking for Field Service Engineers to join our team. If you come from a Clean Water Treatment background then we would like to hear from you.

You will need to be Mechanically minded but we can teach you the Chemical and Reverse Osmosis side of the job. You need to be able to travel around your designated region, so you need to be flexible.

In return, we offer you a salary of up to £30,000 plus company car and a great opportunity to earn more through overtime and standby. When you’re on call, you will be at home and not on site. For the right individual, this is a great opportunity to grow your career. Some of our Site Managers and Area Managers started out in such a role with us.

What will I be doing?

  • Installs and services chemical feed and water treatment equipment at designated locations.
  • Provides service and support to prescribed customer sites.
  • Performs water analysis and/or collects samples for preparation, labelling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels.
  • Calibrates feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintains log sheets.
  • Conducts preventative maintenance on water treatment plant, chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation.
  • Maintains inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, piping, etc.), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis.
  • Remains on call-out duty if and when required as prescribed by the UKIN team call out schedules

What are the requirements?

  • Qualification in a suitable Science, Engineering or technical discipline preferred or equivalent knowledge and experience, or
  • Mechanical based experience from apprenticeships or site experience of maintenance
  • A Level or equivalent Chemistry desirable or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Full UK Driving licence
