  • Previous warehouse supervisory experience necessary
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach towards tasks
  • People who are self-motivated with the ability to work both on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll be doing
  • Understanding the daily plan to support the preparation & co-ordination of labour & resource
  • Co-ordinating the daily activity for designated zone(s)
  • Ensuring all work/movements are dealt with in the set timeframes & all systems updated accordingly
  • Raising any equipment concerns to the Zone Manager, with the relevant detail of what is required and why
  • If activity deviates from the current plan (vehicle no-shows etc.) highlight downtime to Supervisor Level 2 so labour can be re-distributed
  • Actively stepping up when Supervisor Level 2 is not present
  • Keeping Supervisor Level 2 regularly updated of any staff concerns, including, under performance attitude, behaviour, and non-conformity
  • Ensuring H&S, Quality and Food Safety compliance requirements/standards are met
  • Directly challenging unacceptable behaviours and support with corrective action where appropriate
