YOUR ROLE


Due to an exciting new partnership with a global ecommerce customer based within our new facility in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, we are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our new operation to manage inbound and outbound customer fulfilment operations across a time critical fast track operation ensuring tight SLAs are adhered to whilst maintaining operational and customer service excellence.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?


Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will ensure that all warehouse operational tasks are allocated and carried out to the highest standard to achieve operational performance and KPI targets. You will ensure that shift briefs are carried out and incidents are followed up communicating with colleagues to ensure that all operational issues are resolved. You will be responsible for the collation of all necessary site operational reports and data and the submission of these in line with required timescales, along with maintaining labor resource availability for spikes in volume and seasonality changes. You will also work co-operatively with others, creating and maintaining a team spirit across the site to achieve a common goal and take full responsibility for Health & Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ).

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or Shift Manager who comes from a 3pl/warehousing background, ideally with prior working knowledge of operating within a new contract start up or has operated within an FMCG/ecommerce operation. You’ll need to be a robust people manager with a passion for motivating and developing your team, have a keen eye for detail and the ability to understand, follow and champion company procedures. In addition, you will be comfortable operating internal system, such as Microsoft packages including Excel and warehouse management systems.

You must be able to work Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm with occasional weekend requirements in times of peak periods.
