They are looking for a fantastic Warehouse stores team member for 6 weeks

Starting Monday 14 th February 2022

FLT licence is desirable but not essential

The hourly rate will £10.51.

Working Hours

Mon - Thursday 8am to 16:30hrs

Friday - 8am to 13:30hrs

Job Description

The Warehouse and Stores Team Member is responsible for the efficient inward and outward management of goods and materials necessary to support Rivet and Equipment operations and external customers.

General and Task Management:



  • Pick and pack orders for despatch, ensuring all items are packed to the required standard.

  • Pick and prepare internal works orders, identifying and reporting shortages.

  • Ensure adequate consumable packing is available in the rivet manufacturing area on a daily basis.

  • Use the business MRP system to perform the GRN and issuing process, as well as other necessary transactions, e.g. transfer works orders and adjustments as required in order to maintain 100% stock accuracy at all times

  • Carry out all stock checks as per company procedures as and when required in order to maintain a high level of stock accuracy.

  • Transport Management - load and unload vehicles as required to ensure an efficient turnaround with all deliveries and collections.

  • Tool stores - Create tooling kits for the forging department to allow smooth operation of change over

  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and security in the Warehouse and Stores area.

  • Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the company.

  • Proactively identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.

  • Support other team members to ensure the department succeeds together

  • Self-motivated, able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision

  • Has the ability to identify key pinch points within processes and prioritise tasks in order to provide 100% OTIF to customers
