Are you a Warehouse Supervisor with hands-on experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress and grow your career? Do you want security in a role that can offer you full time, guaranteed hours?


We are currently recruiting a permanent Afternoon Shift Warehouse Supervisor to join us at our site in Leigh, working Monday to Friday 1600-0100. You’ll gain experience of working in a multi-faceted site, handling operations & a small team. And of course, you’ll become part of the wider XPO family. The role is hands-on, so you will have to have an FLT licence and be happy to work as part of the team as well as lead it.

We’re looking to offer an hourly rate of £13.45 plus £1.32 shift allowance with potential overtime hours available. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday plus 8 days bank. What you’ll do on a typical shift:


  • Deliver clear operational direction, leadership and development to your team of MHE operatives.
  • Organise your team to efficiently and safely perform all daily tasks, ensuring safety is at the highest importance.
  • Set and monitor KPIs and performance levels, ensuring that we’re always meeting or exceeding our SLAs.
  • Carry out team briefings and general staff communication.
  • Work closely alongside the operations team to eradicate stock discrepancies and errors.


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • Previous experience in managing a team in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of the warehousing process and operational H&S
  • FLT and Reach truck licences essential
  • Be flexible regarding shift patterns and overtime
