Position Summary:
Working 5 days a week - 8.00am to 4.30pm
To ensure warehouse is correctly run and that all stock is taken in and maintained accurately. To ensure that correct items are picked and packed safely and prepared for same day despatch. To correctly assess the type of postage and the choice of carrier. To manage the postal dockets and ensure accurate record keeping and stock management. To ensure all materials necessary to achieve this are kept in adequate supply. To receive incoming stock and put away stock, recording their position, date of expiry and volume.
Bottle products as required to ensure adequate finished stock levels available at all times.
The restocking of shelves.
To assist with logistics relevant to stock inputs and outputs, to provide support to the Company’s Directors, Operations Manager and Warehouse & Facilities Manager. To keep the warehouse and packing room clean and tidy.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Accuracy and efficiency of Stock control.
Control of stock delivery and other goods in.
Time management with the aim of ensuring a full use of the days picking and packing to achieve the mission of getting goods out on the day ordered up to and within the recognised time constraints.
Control of all machinery and training relating to the warehouse.
Delivery of daily/weekly/monthly projects as defined by the relevant instructor on a daily basis.
Responsible for all food standard requirements affecting storage.
Responsible for optimal use of space within the warehouse.
Responsible for all goods out.
Responsible for ensuring the good working practices within the warehouse.
Responsible for preparing powders, tablets, capsules and liquids, managing their transfer and ensuring labelling is correctly applied.
