Warehouse Operative (with forklift experience)

Permanent/ full time

£20,400 per annum + overtime

Monday to Friday, 11am - 9pm

Lichfield

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with experience of operating a counterbalance forklift truck. This is a permanent opportunity that offers a great working environment within in the logistics division ensuring customer’s needs are met to the highest standard.

Day to day role and responsibilities:

  • Operating a forklift truck (counterbalance)

  • Loading and unloading pallets

  • Managing goods in/out

  • Completing and processing all applicable documentation for movement of goods and stock levels, adhering to company policy to maintain integrity of inventory records.

  • Investigate any stock discrepancies and advise the supervisor of any adjustments required.

  • Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as necessary and as directed by the supervisor.

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report any hazards or unsafe work practices to the supervisor.

  • To adhere to and ensure that they are compliant with Health and Safety


We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A valid & certified counterbalance license

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment managing stock

  • Good ICT skills

  • Excellent team-work skills

  • Can-do attitude
