We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our team.

Within this varied role, you will primarily maintain storage areas, assemble and pack goods for customers, as well as load and unload delivery vehicles, carefully checking goods supplied against paperwork. You will adopt safe manual handling, lifting and carrying goods (up to 25kg) and making use of the forklift tricks, both Reach and Counterbalance. As the Relief Driver, you will also be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is correctly loaded and secured before making deliveries.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role and will have interfaced with customers on a regular basis. A counterbalance and or reach forklift licence is desirable so too is production operative experience, although this is not essential, as training will be provided.

We are welcoming applications from self-motivated team players with the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure. You will have manual handling experience and ideally have knowledge of building / trade products. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full, clean UK driving licence with good knowledge of the surrounding area for deliveries.
