Hours of Work: Monday - Friday rotating shifts, Shift 1 06:00 - 14:00, Shift 2 14:00 - 22:00.

A competitive hourly rate of £9.22 plus a monthly discretionary bonus of £50 after successful completion of probationary period

Hannah Food Service is an independent, family-owned business supplying to the food service, fast food and wholesale sectors across the UK. We operate as a national wholesale and food service distribution business. We have a custom-built distribution premise with integrated cold store and chiller and offer a wide range of products.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing business as a Warehouse Operative. As a key team member of the Warehouse Operation, you will be based within our warehouse depot and will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products used for distribution to end locations and ensuring products are correctly wrapped and stored safely. This can include:

  • Accurately pick & check orders and wrap for safe transit, load vehicles in line with the drivers run sheets.
  • Stack products on pallet, level stacked items as far as possible to provide stability for transit reducing product damage.
  • Comply with H&S legislation and internal warehouse procedures
  • Operate relevant MHE (including PPTs or Reach Trucks) safely and in accordance with internal procedures

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to deal with heavy goods
  • In date Reach Truck licence (preferred)
