Warehouse Operative - Nottingham

WHO YOU ARE

We at IKEA Nottingham are looking for a 16 hour permanent Warehouse Operative to join our fantastic expanding Full Serve Team.

Part-time, permanent 16 hours, shifts between 7:00 am-9:30 pm. Working either 3 to 4 days out of 7, including 3 out of every 4 weekends. You will get 1 weekend off per month

Hourly rate: £9.50

The Logistics Team at IKEA Nottingham are looking for proactive and energetic individuals, who are not afraid to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. We are on the lookout for someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for stock accuracy.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The logistics teams are playing a crucial part in our store operations. They enable a successful shopping experience for our customers by ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time. The day-to-day tasks are physically demanding and involve a great deal of (safe!) manual handling. Who needs the gym!?

In our Warehouse team you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing orders for both online & in store for collection or delivery. Your daily duties will be picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery. You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking.

We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers. At IKEA, we call this position a Logistics Co-worker.

We are looking for someone who has good IT & customer service skills & is looking to grow & develop in this role.
