Job description

Come and join our team here at B&Q, Worksop as a Warehouse Operative.

B&Q specialise in DIY, outdoor products, kitchens, bathrooms, home furnishings, storage, heating and cooling, electrical and security, hardware, plumbing.

Shift Pattern:

Sunday- Thursday rotating shifts (06.00-14.00/ 14.00-22.00)

Sunday- Thursday night shift (22.00-06.00)

Part time shift 12 hours (Fri/ Sat/ Sun)

Pay Rates:

£9.00-£12.45 basic pay

£10.90-£17.44 overtime pay

Manual or Equipment based work : Equipment and manual

Licenses or Qualifications needed: None but experience is preferred- all training will be given upon passing a site induction

Transport Links: On bus route

Expectation of site: Passing of a Drug and alcohol testing, selection test and good standard of written and verbal english

Progression or Qualifications available for Temp Workers: Contracts with Wincanton possible upon proven track record, all temp workers able to apply for all positions advertised within the warehouse

Induction information: Site induction will be provided by a Wincanton trainer and all hours worked for the induction will be paid for. Site induction will include a site tour, testing on health and safety and manual handling test and training provided.
