Salary: £23,088 p/a

Location: Unit 1, Bardner Bank, Killinghall, Harrogate, HG3 2SP

Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

We are currently seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative!

Your main responsibility as our Warehouse Operative will be to deliver outstanding service to our customers, by accurately sending, receiving and storing Envirovent stock.

We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated and organisedindividual who has a strong passion for logistics.

What are we looking for in our Warehouse Operative?

• Enjoys practical working and learning
• Someone who is punctual and reliable
• Must posses a full UK drivers license
• The ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Previous experience desirable but not required

What does the Warehouse Operative actually do?

• Responsible for the accurate sending or booking in of orders.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
• Taking goods to the appropriate storage space.
• Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly; and reordered where required.
• Picking and packing orders, ensuring they are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
• Asist with stocktakes
• Ensure a good level of housekeeping is maintained within the Warehouse and ensure waste has been disposed of each day.
• Correctly follow the standard operating procedures
• Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly.
• Upon reaching senior status; assist with training, responsible for decisions in the absence of a Supervisor and investigate office queries/problems with orders.
