Brand new and exciting opportunity to join the team of an ever expanding, leading technology company based in Quedgeley, Gloucester. Our client is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their team! This is a full-time, permanent position.

The company has experienced a large amount of growth in recent times, and they anticipate even more! Therefore, they are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join them and support the team on this journey.

This would be a great opportunity if you already have some Warehouse experience and are looking to progress further! This is a supportive company with a real family feel therefore, hard work will always be rewarded. You must be willing to train towards gaining your forklift licence if do not already hold one.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse
  • Taking goods to the appropriate storage space
  • Keeping a careful record of the stock on the newly implemented warehouse stock management system
  • Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly
  • Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing
  • Booking of transport for shipments to customers
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse
  • Staging of product, loading of configurations and updates and careful packing of products ready for despatch
Candidate Attributes
  • Experience within a similar position
  • Willingness to get stuck in and learn the whole role
  • IT Savvy with experience working on laptops
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good attitude towards work with the desire to learn
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 5pm, Early Finish on a Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

Salary: Up to £22,000 per annum, depending on experience
