This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage the operations of a warehouse while also providing driving services as needed. As a Warehouse Operative / Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, picking stock using an array of material handling equipment as well as delivering products to designated locations.
Current hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm additional hours will be required on occasions on an ad hoc basis when needed
Responsibilities:

- Efficiently manage the stock and inventory in the warehouse

- Receive incoming goods, inspecting them for quality and accuracy

- Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing and shipping of orders

- Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles

- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse

- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits

- Carry out all driving duties as assigned (transit size vans) adhering to road safety regulations

Requirements:

Valid drivers licence and clean driving record

Proven work experience in a warehouse or similar role

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

Good time management and organisational skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Will be required to drive counterbalance forklift and reach truck

Ability to work at any one of our other local locations when needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
