JOB DESCRIPTION

LK Valves & Controls Ltd is a stockist and distributor of valves and actuators. They operate a busy sales office and warehouse from a modern facility on the Knowsley Industrial Park. They currently have 11 personnel on site. They are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated and flexible person to be a valuable addition to their team.

  • Responsible for the smooth and safe running of the warehouse and work closely with sales office staff.
  • Unloading deliveries, unpacking, checking and booking in goods using PC based SAGE system.
  • Identifying stock deliveries and placing in correct storage bays.
  • Identifying contract deliveries and generating dispatch paperwork using PC based SAGE system.
  • Collecting sales office generated despatch notes.
  • Packing goods for despatch.
  • Arranging carrier where necessary.
  • Loading carrier vehicles.
  • Carry out local deliveries / collections using company van.
  • Carry out small modification to goods after training.
  • Driving license (clean with minimum of 4 years experience)
  • Bendi fork lift truck licence or willing to undertake training and test.
  • Use of telephone and computer essential.
  • Monday – Friday,9:00am – 5:00pm.
