Working within our new Logistics Centre we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operations Trainer to join our on-site training team where you will cover a maternity leave for 12 – 18 months.

Cummins UK Logistics Centre is a brand new 430,000 sqft state of the art Warehouse located in Daventry. This warehouse services both manufacturing and aftermarket sales sites across the UK & Europe.

Reporting into the Operations Co-Ordinator you will coordinate and facilitate general and specific training programs. Assists with the planning, design, delivery, and implementation of training programs. Working closely with vendors and educational organizations to develop and deliver training programs.

In this exciting role, you will make an impact in the following:

  • Provide training to new starters to the Company through delivery of effective operational induction and routine training across all warehouse functions.
  • Highlighting additional training needs across the warehouse; recommends solutions including a plan for changes.
  • Creates instructional content for learning environments in alignment with corporate standards; develops instructional materials including participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, tests and job aids.
  • Conducts external research to identity and evaluate training programs available through vendors and universities.
  • Assists with cost-benefit analysis of alternative instructional material development solutions such as modifications, purchases or developments.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ensures that the delivery of all operational training is professional and delivered in line with company values and culture.
  • Maintain records of training activities to ensure legislative requirements are met
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Excel
  • Effective communication at all levels (both written and verbal)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary between £31,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
