Hiring Wizard on behalf of Urban Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Managerto join the team.

Location: Newbury, Berkshire

Base Salary: £35,000 - £38,000, Dependant on Experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full time – Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Reporting to: UK General Manager

Warehouse Manager – The Role:

We are searching for a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our expanding operations. As a crucial contributor to our supply chain, you will take charge of ensuring the seamless and precise distribution of goods, driving operational excellence at every level.

Warehouse Manager - Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance and support

- Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods

- Oversee inventory management, implementing best practices to optimise stock levels

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency

- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols within the warehouse

- Utilise warehouse management systems to track and monitor inventory

Warehouse Manager - You:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution site

- Ability to lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff. Build a positive team culture

- Effective communication to convey goals, expectations, and changes

- Efficient planning and organizing of warehouse activities

- Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

- Proactive and able to take initiative to solve problems and optimise processes

- Computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems
