JOB TITLE: Warehouse Assistant

LOCATION: Milton Keynes

WORK HOURS:FT – 5 days a week (9am – 5:30pm)

SALARY:£23 000 + Bonus (5% per annum)

Job Role:GPS are recruiting for an experienced warehouse operative to ensure stock is processed, organised, and stored. The warehouse assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting targets, and experienced in inventory software and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Goods In:

  • Checking stock in against PO’s and delivery paperwork
  • Note any discreps or damages to Warehouse supervisor
  • Put stock away in pre-determined locations

Picking/Processing Orders:

  • Pick stock in the most efficient manner based on Pick Tickets Generated
  • Scan/pack each order on Blue Cherry to ensure stock is correct
  • Prepare orders for either embroidery team or delivery to customer

Goods Out:

  • Ship orders out to customers using various courier dispatch systems
  • Co-ordinate with freight forwarders in the collections of Distributor orders around the world
  • Update and file dispatch paperwork ensuring accurate information for audit purposes

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic computer skills – emails, excel, word

Familiarity with inventory software would be beneficial

Attention to detail is a must

Self-motivated

Good time management

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Highly Organised

Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
