Job Title: Warehouse and Distribution OperativeHours: 39.5 hours – Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00; Then Friday 08:30 – 16:30; plus 1 half day on a Saturday every 8 weeksContract: Permanent, Full-timeDepartment: Logistics (factory based)Salary: Start rate £21,000 - £23,000 per annum dependent on experience plus £500 per annum for Saturday rota coverBenefits

Job DescriptionYour responsibilities will be:
  • Goods Inwards
  • Dispatch
  • Kit building
  • Aiding internal customers
  • Ensuring all paperwork is filed for traceability
  • Ordering stock to minimum and maximum levels
  • Making goods available for issue
  • Scanning certification
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Adhering, and working, to Health and Safety regulations Full training will be given to the right individual
Job Requirements
  • Previous warehousing/stores experience is essential
  • A full driving licence is essential
  • A forklift license is desirable
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills – including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organised
  • Good housekeeping
  • Flexible hard working and reliable
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to use your own initiative
