Band 7 - Charge Nurse / Sister

General Surgery and Cancer Care Group – Royal Cornwall Hospital

Secondment opportunity for 6 months

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and resilient positive individual to undertake the role as Unit Sister on a busy Emergency inpatient surgical ward.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is calm, well organised, good communicator and has the ability to work at a fast pace.

To fulfil this role it is essential that you have previous experience in leading or managing a team and this opportunity would suit and aspiring current Band 6 nurse. You will need to have a flexible working manner, possess effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise your work load and that of your team.

This is a full-time post working 37.5 hours per week. Secondment for 6 months.
