About you

We’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate Night Support Workers to join our growing team at Home From Home Care. You will need a keen drive to make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

We look for 5 key qualities in our staff - integrity, self-awareness, humility, passion and pro-activeness. If you hold these values, then read -on to learn more about this exciting role.

About the role

As a Night Support Worker your focus will be to work with complex individuals who may have complex behaviours. You’ll work as part of our ONE TEAM to deliver exceptional care and support to the individuals living within the homes. A large part of your role is to help individuals gain new life skills, connect with their communities, and provide outcomes to help them to live an ’ordinary’ life.

When you join, you’ll receive paid induction, which includes comprehensive training and shadow shifts with the individuals we support. We are a provider of choice for those new to care, therefore this role is ideal for anybody looking to start a career within the care industry or with previous experience (including those with an NVQ 2).

We have 11 homes over 5 locations in Lincolnshire, with roles based in Bardney, Dorrington, Fiskerton, Ruskington and Stallingborough. On some occasions you may be required to travel between homes.

Career progression

If you’ve got the potential, the work ethic and the values, it’s likely you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a more senior role or a specialism. We always play to the strengths of our staff, which may include a skill set or an area of interest.

During the 12 month period between 1st December 2018 and 1st December 2019, 22% of our entire team progressed into new roles, with a total of 117 secondments. Furthermore, 96% of our current Registered and Assistant Mangers have been internally promoted, all of whom joined us as Support Workers.

About us - Home From Home Care

We are a family run company making a real difference in the world of care.

Over the past 14 years we have developed specialist integration homes for adults with learning disabilities and complex special needs. Combining our family perspective with our ONE TEAM Working approach, we create dynamic and therapeutic services around each individual in exceptional environments. We are rated Outstanding by CQC and Platinum by Investors in People.

*As a social care provider there is an expectation that all newly recruited staff will have the COVID-19 vaccination.
