We have an exciting opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a specialist respite service for children aged 5-18 with learning disabilities. The service is based in West Bromwich and will support up to 6 young people at any time. Our client’s Specialist Short Breaks Service provide friendships, independence, fun experiences and opportunities for children and young people with a range of disabilities and individual needs while providing respite for their carers from their caring responsibilities.The role involves meeting the practical and emotional needs of the children, assisting with meal preparation, domestic duties, facilitating activities and managing behaviour that challenges. This is a full time position working 4 nights a week with shift times operating between 22:00 to 08:00.All applicants must have previous experience working within a Special Education Needs (SEN) environment and possess QCF level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.Interested in this role?
