Your New Company

I am recruiting for Waking Night Care Assistants to work within a residential home near to Winchester. My client supports elderly clients within a large nursing home including respite care. The role is for full, or part time hours based on a rolling rota to include alternate weekends. Shifts are 1930 – 0745. £11.05 - £13.95 depending on experience and qualifications.

Your new role

As a Care Assistant you will be providing a high standard care for residents who have various care needs and to ensure the safety and welfare of individuals is upheld. You will be supporting residents with daily living, providing support and companionship and assist with mobility, moving and handling following and completing individual care plans. You will promote and encourage independence and ensure the care received meets the individual’s health and wellbeing needs.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • You must have a minimum of 6 months UK care experience
  • Experience caring for older people including use of lifts and hoists
  • Be motivated and passionate about providing a high level of care
  • Have a caring, cheerful and positive personality with a genuine care to support others
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable due to the location of the service
  • Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care advantageous
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
