We hold 30 minute walks , 1 hour long walks (alternate Thursdays 2pm) designed to increase people’s levels of physical activity. Volunteering could include leading the walk, registering participants, acting as a back marker etc. Initially the volunteer would take part in the walk. Should they then wish to be considered as a walk leader or back marker, relevant training will be given by ERYC after a period where the volunteer has shadowed the walk leader.

Should be friendly and enthusiastic. This volunteering opportunity would be better suited to older people.

Shire Hall is situated in the centre of Howden in the Market Place. Must be over 18 and under 75 to comply with insurance requirements.
