The aim of this role is to be part of a small team which contributes towards the maintenance and upkeep of the Lavender Garden at Queen’s Hospital. This is a regular commitment as we want to build up a group of volunteers who will come to love and care for the garden over the longer term. There will be a range of general gardening duties including, but not limited to: Weeding, Dead Heading, Hoeing, Planting, Pruning, Grass Cutting, Watering and general Garden maintenance. All tools and safety equipment will be provided. So if you love the outdoors and have the desire to get stuck in to keep our much loved garden neat and tidy, you could be just what we are looking for.

We are looking for individuals who love the outdoors with general gardening maintenance experience with a keen interest and knowledge in domestic gardening. You should be well-presented, friendly, helpful, open and approachable. An induction will be provided and fares will be reimbursed (conditions apply)

Individuals should be reasonably fit and active as the task may entail standing, walking, bending and lifting.
