Editors for Impact is a social enterprise specialising in creative content services for small NGOs and charities. We are looking for volunteers with Video Filming skills to join our Impact Editor network.

What will you be doing?

Our focus is on small NGOs and other charitable organizations that are working towards addressing problems in social development or environmental sustainability. Small-scale organizations often lack finances, time or access to professional video production that would strengthen their impact. Editors for Impact connects you with a partner organization that fits your interests and skills and provides creative services at no/low-cost to our partners.

As a Videographer, you will be filming videos for

  • Social distancing will be observed as much as possible.
What are we looking for?

We are looking for Videographers with intermediate or advanced skills in video filming. Beginners are also welcome to apply, however, you will be paired with a more experienced videographer while working on projects.

We have an upcoming opportunity working with one our charity partners, Gem, on July 1st, 8.30am to 12.30pm in Westminster Abbey, London. There will be further opportunities in the future.

What difference will you make?

Editors for Impact focuses on small but significant charitable organizations that are tackling big challenges. Our partners’ work in fields includes environmental conservation and renewable energy; international and socioeconomic development; climate action and education; and more – covering geographic areas in Peru, India, Vietnam and more. As small organizations, many lack the time and resources for professional video production that may significantly strengthen the impact of their work.

By contributing as a volunteer Videographer, the projects you deliver can help secure charitable organizations critical funding and establish meaningful partnerships while relieving their time spent on content creation, allowing them to focus on impact.

What’s in it for the volunteer?

Through directly contributing to projects, there is the chance to make a real difference to an important cause as you get to understand our partners’ unique needs and challenges. You will also understand how vital challenges are addressed from the perspective of a charitable organization.

Editors for Impact is operated by a small team - you will get the opportunity to work closely with our management team and get insights into the operation and growth of a social enterprise. We are always open to new ideas and keen to hear your feedback on how we might improve our services to the charitable sector, and promotion to management positions are available.
