  • Monitoring progress
  • Understanding of UK charity law as applied to smaller charities
  • Ability to contribute suggestions for new fundraising opportunities
  • Planning skills
  • Some understanding of finance
What difference will you make?

You will be able to greatly help in the furtherance of the aims of our charity, which are to provide social and other activities for, improve the conditions of life of, and to enhance the independence of, its disabled members; and to promote awareness of learning disabilities to the general public.

What’s in it for the volunteer?

This project would be suitable for someone looking to put their spare time and skills to good use in a rewarding role where they would be able to make a positive difference to continuing to enrich the lives of adults with learning difficulties and other disabilities. It would also enable a successful applicant to contribute or gain new or further experience in the Charity sector.

Before you apply

Applicants will be asked to complete an application form and DBS (Criminal Record) Check, and provide 2 references. Your interview and induction will be managed by the Club Leader, who will also provide guidance and support with this voluntary role if your application is successful.
