2021 Open Day Season: Friday 21st May to Sunday 31 October Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Full training is given to all volunteers, and you will work with another volunteer until you are confident in the role. Tour Guides show visitors around the house. They are expected to point out the architectural features and explain a little of the Mansion’s history. They also need to be prepared for questions. We provide training with experienced volunteers and a set of guide notes and you can take as much time training as you need before doing an independent tour.

Friendly, sociable people.

Note: volunteers do need web access and email to be able to book their rota slots. There is no public transport to the site so volunteers will need their own transport.
