The Cub Scouts develop young people through fun, challenge and adventure. This position primarily involves helping to run the exciting activities.

Someone who is willing to: 1) Assist delivering a varied and interesting programme 2) Ensure activities are run in a safe way and within the rules 3) Undertake the leader training to the support role 4) Attend agreed upon meetings each term

No specific skills/qualifications are required as full training and support are given. Experience of working with children/young people may be useful but is not essential. This is a voluntary role where you will be required to become a member of the Scout Association. Experienced section leaders are already in place within Groups to support you in this role. The East Scarsdale Scout District also has many other Groups, with plenty of additional support, resources and experience on hand. The Scout Association provides a wide range of resources to help us plan activities.
