Are you an enthusiastic outgoing individual? Do you like chatting to people? I f this is you, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team. Our Volunteer Sales Assistants are welcoming and helpful with a can do attitude, making customers feel welcome and supported to find the things they are looking for, as well as assisting them to purchase their items at the cash desk.

Enthusiasm and an out going personality, and ability to work as part of a team is all you need for this opportunity.

We are offering a chance to gain skills, training and experience of working within a retail environment that could assist with future job searches. The opportunity of developing of developing new skills and the chance to utilise existing skills The ability to be part of a shop team and make new friends The chance to gain a recognised NVQ qualification (dependent on criteria) and build confidence Support from our divisional Salvation Army colleagues in times of need, if required Reasonable travel expenses will be paid in line with the volunteer expense policy along with a 25% discount on all purchases. Time commitment for this role is flexible and will be agreed in advance with the shop manager.
