Job content

Duties might include: Tree planting, fencing, Himalayan Balsam removal, river clean ups, fish surveya, invertabrate surveys. The above activities involve working outdoors in all weather conditions, therefore the volunteer must wear appropriate clothing. Some of the activities involve entering the river in shallow water, in which case Ribble Trust would provide waders.No experience is necessary for any of the above, full training and tools are provided. Hours: Flexible Mon - Sun between 8am - 5pm

Essential: must enjoy working outdoors as part of a team and be able to undertake physical tasks. Desirable: a passion for the environment and its protection for future generations.
