COVID 19 SECURE WORKPLACE GOVERMENT GUIDELINES ARE FOLLOWED FACE MASKS/VISORS ARE PROVIDED FOR THIS ROLE To provide support within our City and County based day centres, assisting the staff in delivering optimum quality of care and support to our service users while using our transport. What do activity support volunteers do? Our activity support volunteers help us provide a variety of activities and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for older people to meet together and enjoy each other’s company. If there is an activity you would particularly like to run, then please do let us know your ideas! What you will get out of it? It’s a great way to meet people. You’ll be giving something to your community by helping older people enjoy fun activities. You get to be part of Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland’s volunteer team. Volunteers tell us they find helping at the clubs and activities really rewarding. The role is from 8.45am - 11am and/or 2.45pm - 4.30pm Mon - Fri

Whether it’s a few hours a week or a whole day, we need your help to help support our day care centres Do you have an interest in books, films or music? Are you good at arts and crafts? Do you like playing board games? Do you want to meet new people? Do you want to learn new skills? If so then give us a call or pop in and have a chat with us.

Volunteers must be aged 18 or over A DBS check is carried out for all staff and volunteers of the organisation Expenses paid
