To support the Area Officers with various administration duties within each of our offices (Boston, Spalding, Grantham and Manby). The role will be varied and will include both supporting community groups and potential volunteers. Tasks may include the following:
  • Data inputting and housekeeping onto one or more bespoke databases.
  • Processing online applications.
  • Following up the progress of the volunteers we refer to organisations either by email or telephone and the recording the outcomes of contacts.
  • Printing, filing, scanning and photocopying various documents.
  • Collating training packages.
  • Conducting organisation and volunteering surveys.
  • Taking telephone calls and passing on messages including updating appointment diaries.
  • Friendly and approachable.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.
  • Experience of inputting onto databases desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Adhere to the policies of LCVS.
  • Willingness to attend training and team meetings. Flexible depending on volunteer’s commitment and capacity within each individual office.
Age Restriction: 16+ DBS Check: No Disabled Access – Yes in all offices Volunteer Expenses – Yes (40p a mile up to a 20 mile round trip). Parking up to £2.60 per half day and £3.60 per full day. Public transport costs (up to 10 miles radius of office base).
